About Dabre Marketing

Dabre Marketing started in 2012, long before we called ourselves a full-service marketing agency.

In the beginning, the work was mostly graphic design and websites. We loved creating things that looked good, but over time, something became obvious: a better-looking website didn’t automatically mean a better business.

A company could have a great website and still struggle to generate leads.

It could spend thousands on advertising and send every click to a page that didn’t convert.

It could rank on Google but attract the wrong customers.

Or it could have employees trying to manage marketing between everything else on their plate, without a clear strategy connecting any of it.

We wanted to solve more than the design problem.

So Dabre evolved.

Today, we work across web design, branding, PPC, SEO, email marketing, video, conversion optimization, and marketing strategy. For some clients, we also step in at a higher level as their Fractional CMO.

But adding more services was never really the point.

Solving bigger problems was.

We've worked with businesses at very different stages

Marketing Has to Work in the Real World

We’ve worked with businesses at very different stages — from small startups trying to land their first customers to multimillion-dollar companies with established marketing departments.

The size of the company changes.

The basic question usually doesn’t:

What’s keeping this business from growing?

Sometimes the answer is marketing.

Sometimes it’s the website.

Sometimes they’re getting traffic but losing people before they become leads.

Sometimes the strategy is fine and the execution isn’t.

And sometimes we have to tell a client something they don’t necessarily want to hear: the problem isn’t the marketing at all.

If the product isn’t good enough, the offer isn’t competitive, or customers simply don’t want what’s being sold, another campaign isn’t going to magically fix it.

We’d rather have that conversation than take someone’s money for something we don’t believe will work.

We care about the details.

Good Design Still Matters. A Lot.

We’ve grown far beyond our roots as a design company, but we’ve never lost them.

And we’re glad we didn’t.

There’s a lot of marketing out there now that technically checks every box but still feels completely forgettable. The same templates. The same stock images. The same AI-generated graphics. The same websites rearranged slightly and sold to the next company.

That’s not our idea of good creative.

We still care about the details.

How a brand feels. How a page flows. Whether an ad actually catches your attention. Whether the design looks like it belongs to your company instead of a hundred others.

But we’ve also learned that beautiful work has to do something.

We want it to look good. We also want it to perform.

The Kind of Agency We'd Want to Hire

A surprising amount of our business has come from referrals.

We think there’s a reason for that.

We answer the phone.

We respond to emails.

We show clients what’s happening with their marketing instead of hiding the analytics behind a monthly report nobody understands.

And when something isn’t working, we say so.

Those things sound basic. They should be basic.

Unfortunately, we’ve heard enough stories from business owners who couldn’t get their agency to return a call, didn’t know where their money was going, or had no idea who was actually doing their work to know that they’re not.

Our team is based in the United States, and clients continue to work directly with the people responsible for their marketing — including our founder, who remains actively involved in strategy and works as a Fractional CMO for several businesses.

We’re not interested in signing a client and disappearing.

Why “Dabre”?

There’s nothing complicated behind the name.

DAnny + BREnda.

Dabre.

The name combines the names of our founder, Danny, and his wife, Brenda.

The company has grown quite a bit since those early freelance projects in 2012, but the name has stayed.

It reminds us where all of this started.

Ready for What's Next?

We’re probably not the right agency for a business looking for the cheapest website, a few quick social media posts, or someone to simply follow instructions.

That’s okay.

We’re the people you call when you’re ready to take your company to the next level — and you’re serious about growing it.

If that’s where your business is, we’d like to hear what you’re working on.

Meet The Founder

Danny Gonzalez — Founder & Marketing Strategist

Danny started his career as a graphic and website designer after earning his degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of California – Orange County. As his work with businesses grew, so did his interest in what happened beyond the design — how companies attract customers, generate leads, and turn marketing into real growth. He later earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Western Governors University.

That combination of design and marketing still shapes how he approaches the work today. Danny has a sharp eye for design, but he also knows that looking good isn’t enough. He looks at the bigger picture: what’s working, what isn’t, where opportunities are being missed, and what needs to change.

Even as Dabre Marketing has grown, Danny remains directly involved with clients. He works on strategy, reviews creative and campaigns, and serves as a Fractional CMO for several companies. After more than a decade in the industry, his favorite part of the job is still the same: seeing businesses grow and knowing Dabre had a hand in making it happen.

Danny was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and moved to Southern California with his parents when he was 16, after they came to California as missionaries to serve and work with a local church. Southern California has been home ever since. Outside of work, you’ll usually find him spending time with his wife Brenda and their two kids, at the beach, playing soccer, or volunteering as a soccer coach.
